Ingredients
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 2 Whole Wheat pitas
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
- Toppings. Suggestions:
Artichoke hearts,
Diced green peppers,
Sliced mushrooms.

Steps
- Preheat oven to 375°
- Split the pitas open, making 4 pizzas. Place on a cookie sheet,
rough side up, and put in the oven for 5 minutes to crisp.
- While pitas are crisping, in a small saucepan simmer the tomato sauce,
garlic, and spices for 5 minutes
- When the sauce is finished simmering, take the sheet out of the oven
and pour the sauce
onto each pita, spreading with a spatula.
- Sprinkle toppings on pita and put back in the oven for
5 more minutes
